Joe House Arborist Madison WI

Joe House

Joe House founded Tree House Arbor Science in 2011. Joe has a degree in Forestry from UW Madison, has spent 25 years working as a certified arborist, and is the seven-time Wisconsin State Tree Climbing champion. He is a Madison resident, husband, and father to 3 children. Joe has been heavily involved with forest restoration projects at Crestwood Elementary and continues to foster community and a passion for trees by teaching in the Tree Care Technician program at Madison College.

Ryan Altaweel - Arborist, Tree Service Professional

Ryan Altaweel

Ryan Altaweel began his career as an Arborist in 2016 while attending UW-Stevens Point, earning a BSc in Urban Forestry. In 2022 Ryan became a co-owner of Tree House Arbor Science. In addition to being an instructor in the Tree Care Technician program at Madison College, Ryan is a former swimmer and coach of the Shorewood Sharks. He loves to rock climb, hike, and spend time with family. You can find Ryan out walking his dogs and looking at all the trees.

Tom Anderson-Brown - Arborist, Tree Service Professional

Tom Anderson-Brown

Tom Anderson-Brown became a co-owner of Tree House Arbor Science in 2022. Tom attended Tree Care Technician classes at Madison College while pursuing a career change. A Mechanical Engineer by training, Tom's desire to work outdoors with trees has developed into a passion for finding ways to preserve and beautify our urban forest.

Ulices Villordo

Ulices Villordo grew up on Madison's west side and was attracted to the work of arborists at an early age. Currently attending the Tree Care Technician Program at Madison College, Ulices has become an important member of the Tree House Arbor Sciences team, showing skills and capabilities that help make our work enjoyable and efficient.

Sam Dyer of Tree House Arbor Science

Sam Dyer

Sam Dyer is in his third year at UW Stevens Point, studying Forestry. Sam’s interest in Forestry and trees grew from his work with family managing their Driftless Area farm, converting the land from agricultural to a more diverse ecological environment. Sam brings a smile to work every day and is a skilled ground operations team member.

Isabel Jones

Isabel Jones is a graduate of MATC's Arboriculture and Urban Forestry program. She emerged from the program a strong and skilled climber, fully capable with technical rigging over buildings, performing removals in spikes, and installing canopy support cables to help protect co-dominant stems from failure. Finding her calling in maintaining the urban canopy, Isabel hopes to create a positive impact for future generations to enjoy.
